Test Your Skills at Ultimate Gaming Weekends!

Tear it up with non stop LAN parties during Ultimate Gaming Weekends (UGW). UGW is a weekend gaming program offered at select iD locations for students 12-17. As an Ultimate Gamer you will compete in the world of LAN gaming, iD Tech style. If you choose, you can hone strategies against other students and instructors, or collaborate in teams for bigger challenges. Practice and earn bragging rights on cutting-edge machines with NVIDIA® GeForce® hardware while competing against fellow gamers to be the weekend champion. Supplement our summer enrichment programs by taking part in Ultimate Gaming Weekends!

Not a serious gamer? We've got you covered. You can take it easy in the labs, play retro games, read a book, play outdoor sports, or just keep a low profile. Ultimate Gaming Weekends are great option for students looking to stay the weekend with us and have a blast!

Gaming Schedule

Ultimate Gaming Weekends begin Friday at 3:30 (after camp ends) and continue through Sunday at 3:30PM. Students attending another week of iD Tech Camps or the iD Gaming Academy will continue to game until activities for the next week begin. Gaming Schedules will vary by location.

Gaming Titles

Students enrolled in Ultimate Gaming Weekends will play some of the hottest and most recognized game titles on the market including Unreal Tournament® 3, Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™, Battlefield™ 2142, Guitar Hero® , and many more. We use NVIDIA® GeForce® gaming cards for peak gaming performance. Play other BIG titles from Microsoft® GameStudios™, Blizzard Entertainment® and more.

Get Ranked!

During open gaming time, you’ll be able to play the game you want, as much as you want. When you play our designated tournament game, you will have access to our online ranking ladder so you can share your top position with friends (and enemies) in real time! You’ll be able to check your ranking over the summer, so if you get displaced, you can sign up for another session and try to regain your throne!

What is the Age Range?

Ultimate Gaming Weekends is a teen-specific weekend summer camp program for beginners through advanced gamers ages 12-17. Not a serious gamer? No worries - we've got you covered. You can also play outdoor sports, relax in the labs, read a book, play retro games and much more.

Please Note: Students ages 10-17 may participate in Ultimate Gaming Weekends at Stanford University.

This program is offered at Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UCLA, University of Denver, Sacred Heart University, Emory University, University of Hawaii, Loyola University, Merrimack College, Purdue University, University of Kansas, University of Michigan, Rider University, Vassar College, UNC-Chapel Hill, Villanova University, Vanderbilt University, UT Austin, University of Washington and American University.

Register for Ultimate Gaming Weekends

It's simple! Register for overnight camp at an iD Tech Camps Ultimate Gaming Weekends location (see "Where Offered?" for all UGW locations) or the iD Gaming Academy.

During your registration, add Ultimate Gaming Weekends:
- As a bridge between two weeks of camp OR
- To the weekend after you attend Overnight camp. You are not able to attend our weekend program before your first week of camp.

The cost for all of our weekend programs is $325 per weekend and includes room, board, meals, on-campus activities and adult supervision.

Information For Parents

Our weekend gaming program is fully monitored by iD Staff, and includes housing, meals, supervision, gaming, and outdoor games on campus. The cost is $325 per weekend. This teen program is specifically designed for overnight students ages 12-17 at iD Tech Camps and 13-18 at the iD Gaming Academy.

Please Note: Students ages 10-17 may participate in Ultimate Gaming Weekends at Stanford University.

Games Rated E, T, and M: Our Responsibility

iD Tech Camps is an industry leader in offering various technology courses, including courses and activities revolving around gaming. Some of our gaming curriculum is based on the most commercially successful gaming titles and gaming engines. In order to offer the most cutting edge experience for our campers, we have adopted the policy of allowing the use of some select games rated "T" for Teen and "M" for Mature to be used as part of our curriculum in a supervised environment. While we take our corporate responsibility and iD family values very seriously, we cannot guarantee that younger students will avoid complete contact with these games. By registering with iD Tech Camps, you understand and consent that Games with "M" and "T" Ratings will be used at camp.
